Aim of her work is the expression of the sculptural value of ceramics (vases or bowls) characterized by a strong tactile and graphical aspect. Pieces are handbuild with coiltechnique focusing on the geometry of the form and the finishing (rough or smooth) of the surface. They are fired twice, their final aspect is the result of interaction between smoke and different materials or slips used before the second firing (Raku).

Her formal references look to both Japanese ceramics and culture and African art, as well as to simple manifacts linked to the ancient, to the primitive, to the fossil world. And, undoubtedly, living in Venice, a city of stones eroded by time and smoothed by water, represents a daily source of suggestions and references.
