My small atelier is located in the heart of Venice, a city that not only surrounds me physically but also shapes my artistic identity. Just as its labyrinthine canals weave through the city, Venice itself flows through my work, deeply influencing my creative process.

The city’s rich architectural heritage, the shifting hues of its waters, and the atmospheric light that plays on its facades all serve as an endless source of inspiration. I immerse myself in these elements, drawing from nature’s intricate patterns, the tactile qualities of materials, and the ever-evolving dialogue between the city and its environment. Through my work, I reinterpret these impressions, translating them into a distinct vision of everyday ceramics—pieces that not only embody the spirit of Venice but also invite a deeper connection to the world around us.

My creative research is deeply intertwined with the Venetian lagoon, a fragile ecosystem that I feel a profound responsibility to protect. By working with wild clay and locally sourced raw materials, I explore the connection between people, natural resources, and the land, fostering a harmonious dialogue where craftsmanship and ecology converge. Each piece reflects a commitment to preserving this delicate balance, honoring both tradition and sustainability.
This research, which began while I was abroad, has helped me rediscover myself and strengthened my connection with the land. From design to material sourcing, I carefully manage every stage of the small-batch production at VS Ceramics, ensuring that each piece embodies both artistic exploration and environmental awareness.
